I pray for Wisdom to understand my man;
Love to forgive him;
And Patience for his moods.
Because, Lord, if I pray for Strength,
I'll beat him to death.
AMEN

Gosh...Goodwood Park has the heavenliest durian pudding ever...my mum would have absolutely died if she'd been there.. yum! Mel's bdae was themed polka dots..cute.. it's all 'in' this season ya.. but no polka dotted tops have flattered me thus far.. :p T cube, Joyce n HL abandoned me..so i was stuck with a bunch of RJ MEP pple.. wow.. i never knew musicians were so passoionate about..well..music.. half of them are actually studying music in Uni! And the other half have formed professional string quartets and play in gigs and stuff.. hmmn..impressive. We discovered that Mel had also wanted a birthday in a white tent by the beach...or alternatively a garden party..just like me!! Haiz.. yup.. it will be too ex. *pout*
One of the other highlights on the trip was watching the Spain-Tunisia match live in a square in Madrid with hundreds of beer-guzzling, ice-selling, patriotic, but way-too-tall Spanish teenagers...Joey, Neela and me, stuck in the middle of this lot, and threatened on occasion when we were suspect to be Tunisia supporters.. but u just yell 'espana, espana', then they'd become friendly again. :)
Spain was losing by one until the last 15min of the match...where we were present to catch the jubilation, jumping, and Spanish cheers, when they scored each of their 3 goals. Will upload pic of cute guy beside us, who turned and forced Joey to take a photo of him posing, when the first goal was scored..
At the end of the match, Spain won, and chaos filled the streets..they jumped and splashed about in the fountains along the steet, and cars going past waved flags and honked in response.. even in the metro, they cheered across the tracks to each other, proudly donning the red and yellows, some draped in Spanish flags..
