Madrid's Plaza del Torres comes alive on Sundays..

The inside, filling up.

The opening.

Matadors and pink capes.

Enter- bull no. 1... 6 matadors to one bull, tiring it out in the first stage.

Goaded to charge at the horse, poor bull is speared in the back repeatedly till you can see it bleed- to weaken its back muscles.

4 matadors then take turns to throw pairs of speared batons into the same area of the back, to further weaken the bull.

At this stage, the star matador goes one on one with the already weakened bull, mind you.

Finally, he pulls out his sword from his cape, and spears the bull though its back..
Bull collapses to its knees, and matadors try to coax it up. Finally, it gets stabbed repeatedly through its skull to be killed.

Finally, it's tied to the back of horses and dragged out.. hmmn.. :( And this got repeated with 5 more bulls..
Hola a espana!
Big sigh. Just reached Sevilla on a bad note. I was all set to write about having a great time in Portugal, in magical Sintra out of a children's fairytale and charming Porta, but I just discovered that I must have left my digi cam behind in Lagos...and it's no where to be found..so quite depressed..my mum's gonna kill me..there goes all my lovely Portugal pics..n will have to buy a new cam for my cuz..doesn't help tt i wrecked the last one i borrowed too...i'm really just praying it'll be found somehow..what i need is a miracle.
